Tetris Effect was originally released on the PS4 in 2018 and a year later on for the Xbox and PC a year later. Tetris Effect: Connected released exclusively for the Xbox One consoles, and Windows PC via Epic Games Store. Now Tetris Effect: Connected is coming to the PS4, PS5 and Steam but the gaming coming to other platforms also means a plethora of new features.

Tetris Effect: Connected Cross-Platform Multiplayer Is Coming

Tetris Effect: Connected is a brilliant game for Tetris fans, or if you a fan of visually aesthetic games. While the appeal of the game comes from the love of Tetris itself, Tetris Effect: Connected is coming very soon to the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam very soon.

PS4 owners will be able to leverage a free upgrade of the base game to Connected when it does release, so that is even more good news.

Further more, the game brings a great update for players. Introducing upto 8 player multiplayer that spans every potential platform the game is on. Similar to Among Us, the ability to do so will be be via a room code made by one of the players.

The usual single player modes are making a return too. Modes like Score attack, and Zone Battle are here to keep you playing by yourself and others.

This is a significant and major update to the game which could make it even more appealing than it already was to existing fans of the game.

The inclusion of cross-platform multiplayer means that players on the Oculus Quest, PC, Xbox, and PS4 can seamlessly play with other. All you need is a copy of the game and a unique room code made by one of the players to initiate the fun.

With support for upto 8 players, the game will get chaotic but fun, similar to Tetris 99 on the Nintendo Switch, but reduced to 8 people.
