The Devil In Me is the latest entry in the Dark Pictures Anthology. It closes off season 1 of the series and introduces us to a slew of new game mechanics, brings back a setting from an even that happened in the real world, and is easily the best entry in the series till date. It’s an interactive drama title where players must survive and escape a hotel littered with death traps.
The Devil In Me Is Now Available
The Devil In Me continues the Dark Pictures universe and lets us control a new cast of characters for a new setting. We are taken to a foreboding hotel that is modeled after the famous murder hotel owned by H. H. Holmes in the 19th century. The hotel has traps scattered everywhere, so players will have to use all of their faculties to escape the hotel in one piece.
Here are the key features of The Devil In Me:
- Control a brand new cast of characters with unique abilities and skills that help them and the others survive the hellish night that await them.
- Introduction of an inventory system to allow for solving puzzles in the environment and unlocking collectibles.
- Decisions and paths will determine who will survive and die in your playthrough. It is entirely possible to save, and kill everyone, and everything in between.
- Unravel the mystery of the new murder mansion and the intentions of its mysterious new owner who put you in danger in the first place.
