Telltale Games is finally back with more projects, and this time with Deck Nine onboard, they’re tackling The Expanse franchise. Like their previous titles, The Expanse will feature choice-driven gameplay with far more movement and control. The title is also coming to PC, and we now have more technical details from the store page. Here are the official The Expanse A Telltale Series system requirements.
The Expanse A Telltale Series System Requirements
|OS||Windows 10 64-bit||Windows 10 64-bit|
|Processor||AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.40 GHz / Intel Core i5-2300, 2.80 GHz||AMD FX-8350, 4.00 GHz / Intel Core i5-3470, 3.20 GHz|
|Memory||6 GB RAM||8 GB RAM|
|Graphics||Radeon HD 7790, 2 GB / GeForce GTX 750Ti, 2 GB||Radeon RX 590, 8 GB / GeForce GTX 1060, 6 GB|
|DirectX||Version 11||Version 11|
|Storage||18 GB available space||20 GB available space|
Despite some impressive gameplay reveals, The Expanse isn’t a very demanding title. Even if you’re looking to play at higher settings, you only need something like an RX 590 with 8 GB of VRAM paired with a pretty old i5-3470. We’re assuming that the recommended specifications target 1080p at 60 FPS.
If you’re fine with turning down a few settings, even something like a GTX 750Ti with just 2 GB of RAM is enough.
We’re hoping that the title’s optimization is a priority, and their recent Life is Strange: True Colors release actually ran quite well, with impressive visual quality. Like True Colors, The Expanse is also using Unreal Engine.
Apart from that, you need a total of 20 GB to install the game, and 8 GB of RAM is recommended.
The Expanse A Telltale Series on PC
The title seems to be coming to the Epic Games Store only for now because a Steam page isn’t up yet, nor is there any mention of it. You can add it to your wishlist here.
