Unicorn Overlord is making its way to consoles in March 2024, and ATLUS and Vanillaware have started to share more details of the highly anticipated RPG release. From the looks of it, Unicron Overlord is shaping up to be the studio’s biggest title yet and features tons of original characters to interact with, and classes to choose from. Today ATLUS and Vanillaware gave us a peek at some of those.

Unicorn Overlord Classes

The RPG has over 60 unique classes or Combatant types to choose from. These classes determine their combat affinities, which weapon types they can wield, and which skills they can use. For example, the Gladiator can hit an entire row of enemies, and self-heal, while a Werewolf is better suited to finishing off enemies and gains bonuses at night.

These strengths, and vulnerabilities play an active part in party composition, and having so much to choose from suggests there’s an increased level of replayability. Check out the renders of some of the other classes revealed today as well.

The following of the 60 have been confirmed today:

  • Housecarl
  • Gladiator
  • Arbalist
  • Cleric
  • Wyvern Knight
  • Shaman
  • Elven Fencer
  • Werewolf
  • Featherbow
  • Gryphon Knight
  • Feathersword
  • Hunter

In addition, certain classes are better suited to combat each other. For instance, if a class has ranged weaponry, they’ll do greater damage against flying units. So, the Hunter will do twice as much damage to a winged unit like the Featherbow.
