Warner Bros has a mystery game hidden in the Microsoft Store, and with no description, or images, it could be anyone’s guess what the game could be. However, it is speculated that the game could be a placeholder for a game that could be announced at The Game Awards in December, but the details about the game are still a looming mystery.
What is Metcat?
We know Aggiornamenti Lumia for their work at looking behind the scenes where we can’t on the Microsoft Store, and while they are known for sharing projects or video game sizes, but this time they came across a discovery on the Microsoft Store that could mean anything, but at least we know its a video game.
The Twitter user was able to find a game that is exclusive to the Xbox Series consoles, and while the description and featured image are placeholders at best, this could also be a hint that Warner Bros. could be gearing up for an announcement at the Video Game Awards set for December 8th, 2022.
Warner Bros. recently published Gotham Knights to very low fanfare. However, there are still plenty of other great titles that the publisher could tease at the biggest event to close off the year, so we are hoping for one of those to tease us with a surprise at the awards show.
We do not know if Metcat is going to be an exclusive title or a multi-platform title, leaving a lot to the imagination. While fans are immediately holding out for an Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 12, one can only hope that both of those games do come out sooner rather than later.
