According to the same person who stated that Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PS+ for March 2021, there is potential that 2020’s Watch Dogs Legion could be the latest addition to Microsoft’s Game Pass program.
Watch Dogs Legion could be coming to Game Pass
Watch Dogs Legions was Ubisoft’s latest installment to the Watch Dogs trilogy. while the game had a mixed reception at launch, the game has since then gotten better in terms of console performance. Ubisoft had intended for the game to meet the hype of the PS5 and Xbox Series X launch and it did well to meet it.
While Watch Dogs Legion multiplayer mode is set to launch on March 9th, perhaps that could be the day we will see the game make its announcement for Game Pass? Let’s wait and see.
Shpeshal Ed is the same individual who previously stated (and correctly) that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would come to PS+ in March 2021.
It is worth mentioning that Ed specializes in the world of Microsoft and its considered his forte. Due to this, there is very little reason to not believe that he could once again be spot on with this prediction.
While this is still a rumor at the end of the day, we recommend taking it with a grain of salt.
In addition, fans are skeptical of the game coming to Game Pass due to Ubisoft’s own Ubisoft+ that acts as a pseudo Game Pass but exclusively for their own games.
Watch Dogs Legion and Assassins Creed Valhalla were Ubisoft’s last games of 2020. With us almost 25% done with this year, the studio has yet to release a new major title. The last title they released was Scott Pilgrim vs the World, and prior to their delays, we would have had seen Prince of Persia remake, and Far Cry 6 release by now.
For now, all we can do is wait for Ubisoft or Microsoft to drop the news on the new Game Pass games.
