Chapter 4 Season 3 of Fortnite introduced us to some very special items, skins, pickaxes, and events. Some of these completely changed the way we played the game, and some simply added new things into the mix. We can’t help but wonder, when does the Fortnite season end?

We’ve got a closer look at the jungle biome, the Transformers event, and unique weapons. Weapons that have already integrated themselves into the meta. By this point, however, things are already getting stale.

When Will Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 End?

According to Epic Games, Chapter 4 Season 3 should end on the 25th of August, 2023. At exactly 2 AM ET. Now, given where you’re located, you might not be able to boot it up immediately. However, keep in mind that Epic Games does have a tendency to delay the end of a season if Fortnite is not ready for a new season.

When Will Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Begin?

Once again, a release date for the new season hasn’t been announced, nor will they announce it. The new season usually begins right after the current season ends. You can expect it to begin on the 25th of August. Maybe not immediately after the current season ends, but a couple of hours after.

What’s To Come in Chapter 4 Season 4?

When it comes to leaks about new seasons, there’s a lot of speculation to unpack. So far, we don’t know about a lot of things that might be added to Fortnite. The only breadcrumbs that we’ve been served are rumors of the supposed theme and a couple of other miscellaneous items.

New Fortnite Theme

Creator “Sharshock” shared a picture of a care package on Twitter that Epic Games supposedly sent him. This picture contains a blood moon, which will likely be the theme of the next Fortnite season. It might not be directly related to the blood moon, but it must be connected to the new season somehow.

Live Event

Furthermore, we’re likely in store for an ending live event before the servers go down for maintenance. Season 1 and 2 didn’t have a live event, but we’re nearing the end of this chapter. It would only make sense for Epic to start laying the foundations for their end-of-the-year live event.

Rift Gate in Fortnite

Data miners also dug up a couple of files that might give you an idea of what to expect from any live events or cinematics. A well-known leaker called iFireMonkey discovered a file that contains cataclysms such as “Rift Gates.” We won’t analyze this, as it could mean a lot of things. However, you will see these animations play out sometime before or during the new season.

Guards & Vaults

Fortnite’s official Twitter account tweeted a picture with a caption that reads the following: “Cameras, guards, vaults, and the best team in the business. Are you in?”.  All of this indicates that we’ll probably be getting another themed event related to heists of some sort.

To top it all off, popular leaker Hypex has come forward with two potential leaks. One of these leaks indicates that functional helicopters are returning to Fortnite. We already had this in past seasons, so it’s not unlikely for it to be making a return. The second leak talks about Epic Games developing a new first-person mode for Fortnite. Now, we’re not sure if this will be available in Season 4, but it’s definitely being worked on.

Flying Mounts & New POI

There will likely be a new biome for Season 4, but we can’t know for sure. What we do have some certified knowledge of is one of the new POIs that we’re getting. This new POI will be called “Relentless Retreat”, and it looks like a modern mansion of some sort. Judging by the overlay that’s on the picture, we’re going to be robbing this place blind.

Flying mounts have been one of leaker Hypex’s older leaks, as this hasn’t yet come to fruition. Apparently, you will be able to fly with and boost your mounts, whilst also letting them idle in the air. We assume that this isn’t a feature that Epic Games is actively working on, especially if the theme for this new season doesn’t fit a mechanic like that.

New Weapons

Havoc Pump Shotgun in Fortnite

Every new season blesses us with a wide variety of new and unique weapons. These are the highlights of the season, and they’re the first thing players always read about. Sadly, some fan-favorite meta weapons are bound to get vaulted, though. Here are all of the new weapons that we know of so far:

  • Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun
  • The Foundation’s MK-Seven AR
  • Gunnar’s Stinger SMG
  • TNTinas Ka-Boom Bow
  • Overclocked Pulse Rifle
  • Havoc Pump Shotgun

Some of these weapons are returning weapons or simply renditions of old weapons. The Overclocked Pulse Rifle and the Havoc Pump Shotgun. Epic Games loves their Havoc Pump shotgun.

Now you know when the Fortnite Season Ends for Chapter 4 Season 3. Season 3 was full of surprises and pleasant landing spots that redefined the way we experienced Fortnite. Epic Games is always hard at work trying to deliver a flawless product. That’s why we expect this new season to outshine the previous one.
