Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty might not have made the same splash as Nioh 2, but I thought it was a fantastic action RPG that had some very interesting mechanics like deflection and spirit gauge that I expanded on in my review back in 2023. Now with over a year of support, and additional content, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is in an excellent place, and the complete edition is the perfect place to drop in.

What’s in the Wo Long Complete Edition?

The Complete Edition comes with every piece of DLC content that was released over the year, including three expansions.

Each expansion brought new stages, bosses, Divine Beasts, weapon types – including the cestus, long sword, and whip – as well as characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei.

This edition includes the following DLC packs:

  • Battle of Zhongyuan
  • Conqueror of Jiangdong
  • Upheaval in Jingxiang

In addition, all collaboration content is also available in the complete edition with equipment and stages inspired by the likes of Nioh 2, Lies of P, and Naraka: Bladepoint – alongside the Baihu Armour, Zhuque Armour, Qinglong Armour, and Records of the Grand Historian in-game items, the latter showing the locations of the Marking Flags on the mini-map.

Finally, whether you own the base game or the complete edition, you will receive the Xuanwu Armour for free. We have made a small showcase of the set below.

You can now purchase the complete edition for $60 across all major platforms from the following links.

There is no upgrade path, however, on any platform.

Is Wo Long Worth It in 2023?

If you have been waiting for a complete edition like this, I’d say it’s definitely worth playing. With multiple updates, the PC version runs much better than it did originally, with improved stability, and overall performance. There’s a decent amount of content here with tons of build variety, and room for replayability as well. It might not be as content-rich as Nioh 1 and 2, but the extra expansions make it a very solid experience with tons of different bosses to fight.
