In today’s guide, we will be discussing Dori, the latest character release in the second half of the 3.0 update. We will be discussing the best ways to build Dori, her ascension and talent materials/costs, constellations, artifacts, weapons, and team comps. But of course, let us begin by introducing the character, briefly.
Dori, The Treasure of the Dream Garden, is a Sumeran Merchant. She is a 4-star Electro Claymore user. Quite uniquely, she can provide sustained Electro application, aiding in reaction-based team comps, healing your party members, and recharging your on-field character’s energy. Her constellations and kit point to her role as a utility/support character.
An Overview
Dori‘s talents can be welded into your team’s rotation to provide a constant flux of energy with her burst, a decent source of energy for herself via her skill (and also subsequent constellations), and also the opportunity to heal her team mates using her normal attacks and burst.
Dori’s Ascension and Talent Costs/ Mats
Ascending Dori gives her a boost in HP %, which effectively compliments her kit.
Dori’s Ascension Costs
The Lotuses are, honestly, a pain to gather. However, you may make some friends by going into other people’s worlds and snitching a few. You can gather the Satin, Silk, and Brocade by defeating Eremites. The Thunderclap Fruitcore can be collected in a few days by defeating the Electro Regisvine.

Dori’s Talents
Dori‘s skill deals Electro DMG in a two sequence attack. Her burst can heal and generate energy for the active character
Her Passives reduce her Elemental Skill’s CD and also restores energy for her Elemental Burst. Also, you can also get extra materials when crafting Character and Weapon Ascension Materials if Dori is selected in the crafting menu.
Dori’s Passive Talents
An Eye for Gold
After a character connected to the Lamp Spirit triggers an Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Quicken, Aggravate, Hyperbloom, or an Electro Swirl or Crystallize reaction, the CD of Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon is decreased by 1 second.
Dori only applies Electro every 3s from her burst, so for a 12s duration, you can expect her Skills CD to be reduced from 9s to 5s. However, in actuality, the player will not be using her skill that often in a rotation.
Compound Interest
When the Troubleshooter Shots from Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon hit opponents, Dori will restore 5 Elemental Energy for every 100% Energy Recharge possessed.
A maximum of 15 Energy can be restored this way per Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon.
A decent passive to have, especially considering that Dori‘s burst costs 80 energy.
Unexpected Order
Has a 25% chance to recover some of the materials used when crafting Character and Weapon Materials.
This passive is powerful, considering characters like Mona or Xingqiu who can refund either Weapon or Character Ascension Materials. Dori fills in these two roles by herself.
Dori’s Normal Attack
Marvelous Sword Dance (Modified)
Dori‘s normal attacks perform a 3-strike sequence. Her charged attacks consume stamina to perform a spinning attack and also perform a more powerful slash at the end of her charged sequence.
Dori’s Elemental Skill
Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon
This ability fires Electro Projectiles, Troubleshooter Shots, at opponents. If the projectile hits enemies, fires two more homing projectiles called After-Sales Service Rounds that also deal Electro DMG.
This ability also generates 2 Elemental Particles if it hits enemies.
Dori’s Elemental Burst
Alcazarzaray’s Exactitude
The Spirit Lamp connects with your active unit, continuously healing and generating Energy for them.
When the connecting cord touches enemies, it will Deal Electro DMG to them every 0.4s.
At first glance, this is a very powerful ability. During the 12s duration, you can hit enemies up to a maximum of 30 times. At Lv. 8 and 25% DMG multiplier per hit, this can add up to 750% DMG. This ability is not very consistent though, since you’ll have to stay close to the enemy and in a certain position to be able to deal DMG. So we urge you, the traveler, to mainly make use of Dori‘s burst for its healing and charging capabilities.
This ability costs 80 Energy and we recommend prioritizing it when building Dori.
Dori’s Constellations
A brief note is necessary here… Please do not feel forced to roll for a character’s constellations. They are nice to have and can boost the effectiveness of a character but aren’t worth spending real-world currency on unless you have a large reserve of expendable income.
However, if you do end up getting more constellations, congratulations! Let us get you familiar with Dori’s Stella Fortuna.
Dori‘s constellations are a good upgrade for her. She can provide some extra DMG, Healing, and ER to aid the unit currently on-field.
Constellation Lv.1
Additional Investment
Provides some extra DMG output of your E skill, a decent upgrade considering the multipliers.
Constellation Lv.2
Special Franchise
Dori is capable of healing your active units about once every 3s, meaning, this constellation can bring about some 4 extra instances of Electro DMG with Jinni Toop.
Constellation Lv.3 + Lv.5
Wonders Never Cease + Value for Mora
These two constellations buff the skill and burst talent level of every character in the Genshin world.
Constellation Lv.4
Discretionary Supplement
Dori‘s C4 buffs her Bursts supportive abilities, dynamically allowing the ability to become stronger if your character needs that extra Health or Energy.
Constellation Lv.6
Sprinkling Weight
If you have c6 Dori, you have entered a lifelong contract to use The Bell claymore on her.
Dori’s Best Artifact Sets
The Noblesse Oblige set is overall a good choice for Dori. If you wish, you may also make use of the powerful Instructor‘s set. To enhance the non-existent DPS capabilities of Dori‘s Burst, The Emblem of Severed Fate set might just turn out to be your best bet. These preferences may differ player-to-player, depending on how they decide to build Dori.
Noblesse Oblige
Unless the concerned character has a set specially crafted for their kit, this will be your go-to set for any supporting character.
Instructors
This set is cheaper to level up and provides a decent EM boost to all units in your team, boosting the effectiveness of Electro-Dendro reactions, among others.
Emblem of Severed Fate
The increased Burst DMG coupled with (and based upon) more Energy Recharge, keeping in mind her passive talents, could (with the right teams) turn Dori into a DMG-dealing machine. Above 200% ER is recommended for players wishing to make use of this set.
Dori’s Best Stats on Artifact Sets
For a supportive build, your team could use Dori equipped with an Energy Recharge stat on her sands and Electro DMG on her Goblet. Her circlet could use a Healing Bonus %/ HP% or ATK% main stat.
Of course, for a DPS’y build on Dori, an Electro Goblet with Energy Recharge on your sands is a must-have, Along with a CRIT Rate/ DMG circlet (or more ER if you feel like the value you have isn’t enough).
When building Dori, it is necessary to account for your playstyle and the pieces you have on hand. So, these stats may differ player-wise.
Dori’s Best Weapons
Forest Regalia
A good weapon for Dori, you should choose this f2p craftable option if you’re running a team that can consistently proc Dendro reactions, the reason being, the 120 Mastery boost can help boosting DMG bonuses recieved by Dori when she procs these reactions.
Favonius Greatsword
This weapon can be a viable alternative for Dori as well, helping her get her burst back easily and empowering supportive builds on Dori.
Akuoumaru
This is a generally good weapon for increasing your claymore character’s Burst DMG, characters like Eula and Dori can make good use of it since both characters have a ludicrous 80 Energy Cost for their Bursts.
We never thought this would happen someday, but The Bell works too.
Furthermore, feel free to check out our list of the best claymores in Genshin for more info!
Dori’s Best Teams
You’ll want a team that can make use of Dori‘s burst effectively.

She can work great with someone like Eula, who has a high Energy cost and is Cryo. The reason this works is that Cryo + Electro procs the Superconduct reaction, reducing opponents’ Physical Res by a whopping 40%, allowing Eula to deal massive DMG with her burst. Other supportive characters like Rosaria work really well in this team, providing Cryo resonance and CRIT Rate to further buff Eula

But of course, to make use of the newesr reactions, you could run an off-field Dendro Support character like Collei or the Dendro Traveller who can constantly apply Dendro using their Bursts. After that, it’s just, a matter of using Dori’s burst and proccing the desired reactions. For example, using Ayato or Childe in such teams will proc Bloom or Hyperbloom.
Ofcourse, you could come up with any team comp that you like, it all depends on how you want play and build Dori.
Conclusion
