Earn XP Faster in Baldur’s Gate 3 Using This Mod

Have you been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 for a while now, and don’t want to go through the process of leveling up your character again? Well, this mod removes that restriction and allows you to earn XP faster in Baldur’s Gate 3.

This mod created by NexusMods user Malcroix gives you two options. You can either reach Level 6 very fast, as soon as you leave the Nautiloid in the opening. This essentially removes the initial grind you’ll have to do to reach Level 6, and for returning early access players, that might be a bit annoying. This doesn’t change the game balance beyond allowing you to reach level 6 faster.

The second option of the mod halves the XP requirement in Baldur’s Gate 3 for every level, meaning you’ll upgrade twice as fast as usual. This option will affect the entire game.

How To Install the Mod

Installing the mod is very straightforward, and you can do so by following the steps below.

• Sign-up on NexusMods, so that you can download the mod manager and mod files
• Install Winrar or 7zip, to extract compressed files
• Head over to the following link to download the Mod
• You can choose Double XP or Fast XP to Level 6 depending on the way you want XP be to modified

• Click on Manual Download to download the mod zip file
• Head over to where Baldur’s Gate 3 is installed on your PC. An easy way to do this is in the Steam library.
• Right-click on the game, select Manage, and then Browse local files

• Now, open the Data folder

• Place the zip file in the Data folder
• Right-click on it, and select Extract here

• This will automatically create the required folders for the mod, and you’re done.

The pathways for the mods should look like this

For Fast XP to Level 6:

[BG3]/Data/Public/Shared/Stats/Generated/Data/XPData.txt

For Double XP:

[BG3]/Data/Public/Shared/Stats/Generated/Data/XPData.txt
[BG3]/Data/Public/SharedDev/Stats/Generated/Data/XPData.txt

After this, depending on which mod you chose, the game will reward you XP differently.
