A known leaker on Reddit who goes by the handle of QuimSix, who has a track record that matches that of PracticalBrush. While the latest announced State of Play has a heavy focus on Deathloop and indie games, the leaker states that God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West could get a trailer in August.
God of War Ragnarok Trailer could come as early as August
To give credit to QuimSix, they were the first to leak a new trailer of Far Cry 6. They foretold the May 28th trailer and also told about a new statue for the game.
In addition, the leaker also tipped for a July 8th State of Play which just got announced.
While they have proven their reliability in the past, only time will tell if their reliability will extend to first-party game trailers.
Horizon Forbidden West recently had a showcase where gameplay was shown for the first time. While it blew away fans, there are a large number of fans who are eagerly waiting for details on God of War Ragnarok.
Key details of the game such as release date and gameplay are still a mystery for the fans. So it’s understandable that fans are irked by the silence of Sony and Santa Monica Studios alike.
Hopefully, the rumor does come to pass. We hope to finally see some gameplay or get an idea of the story around Ragnarok.
